Automatic Steel Tube Packing Line

The Hexagonal Standard

Steel tubes are almost always shipped in hexagonal bundles. This line uses electromagnetic or mechanical stackers to pick up tubes row by row and place them into a forming pocket. Once the hexagon is complete, the bundle is conveyed to a heavy-duty strapping station.

Water Removal

For tubes coming from hydro-testing, the line often includes a 'tilting' or 'air blow' station to drain water from inside the tubes before bundling.
