Automatic Strapping Machines are essential for industries dealing with heavy, dense, or shifting loads that require high-tension containment. Unlike stretch wrapping which contains surface loads, strapping penetrates and binds the product itself, making it the preferred choice for bundling steel coils, pipes, lumber, and brick pallets.

PET vs. Steel Strapping

Modern strapping machines are typically designed for one of two material types:

• PET (Polyester) Strapping: The modern standard. It offers high tensile strength comparable to steel but with elongation properties that absorb shock during transport. It is safer to handle and does not rust.
• Steel Strapping: Reserved for the most extreme applications (e.g., hot steel coils) where high heat resistance or absolute rigidity is non-negotiable.
