Side Sealers (Continuous Sealers) do not have a fixed L-bar. Instead, they use a rotating wheel or heated blade to seal the side of the film continuously as the product moves. The front/back cut is made by a separate cross-seal bar. This design allows them to run very fast and wrap products of any length.

High Speed Application

Because the product never stops moving (unlike in an intermittent L-sealer), side sealers are the preferred choice for high-speed production lines.
