Semi-Automatic Pallet Wrappers are the most common type of stretch wrapper found in distribution centers today. They utilize a rotating turntable to spin the pallet while a film carriage moves up and down a mast to apply the wrap. 'Semi-automatic' means an operator is required to attach the film to the pallet at the start and cut/wipe the film at the end of the cycle.

Core Components

• Turntable: A heavy-duty steel plate that rotates the load. Variable speed control allows for safe wrapping of stable to unstable loads.
• Film Carriage: The heart of the machine, responsible for pre-stretching the film. Advanced carriages offer variable tension control for different parts of the load.
• Control Panel: Allows operators to customize wrap cycles, such as the number of top/bottom wraps and carriage speed.
