Steel Coil Strapping Machines are specialized, robust systems integrated into slitting lines or coil logistics systems. They perform two types of strapping:
1. Circumferential (OD) Strapping: Around the outer circumference to prevent the coil from unwinding.
2. Radial (Through-the-Eye) Strapping: Through the center of the coil to bind the layers together.

These machines are built to withstand harsh mill environments. The strapping heads often 'float' or index to contact the coil surface, ensuring a tight strap regardless of the coil diameter.
