Handling Soft Metals

Copper coils are heavy yet soft. A standard steel line would dent and scratch them. Copper Coil Packing Lines use polyurethane-coated conveyors and vacuum lifters instead of magnets. The focus is on 'damage-free' handling. The wrapping station often applies VCI film to prevent the copper from turning black (oxidizing).

Precision Stacking

To prevent deformation of the bottom coils, the stacking height is strictly controlled, and inter-layer protection (cardboard/plastic) is automatically applied.
